A wedding celebration enables you to share your love and new status with your friends and family. You can include traditional, religious and cultural elements in your ceremony. Couples often like to write their own vows and promises to each other and exchange rings and gifts. You may also choose to represent your love with candles, or even wine. Include what feels right for you to ensure that your ceremony is a true reflection of yourselves and your stories.
I would be truly honoured to write a bespoke ceremony that would be completely unique and personal to both of you. If you have special words you would like to say to each other in your vows you can write your own (with or without my help).
Do you have a specific theme to your wedding? Why not incorporate some wording to tie in with the theme and choose readings to compliment it too?
My job is to listen to your ideas, likes and dislikes and come up with something you will love. We can spend time discussing options and ideas, and how to include these in your ceremony. Don't worry if you're short of ideas, as I have access to many poems and readings for you to peruse.
This is one of the most important days of your lives, and as such, I want you to be happy with the content of your ceremony. Regular communication can help calm any worries, so I invite you to make contact when need be, and I will also contact you with drafts and ideas when required. For some ceremonies it is useful for me to be in contact with other professionals who are to be involved on the big day. This helps us work together seamlessly to provide the day of your dreams.
An early arrival enables me to check and organise the venue. I will bring any readings, poems and extras agreed upon. I shall liaise with other professionals involved, as well as with guests who may be taking part in the ceremony. I will offer nervous readers reassurance and encouragement as and when required!
Once it is time to begin, I will conduct your ceremony, leading you and your guests smoothly through the process. You have the option of signing a ceremonial certificate, which you can then keep. This is usually a popular inclusion to the ceremony, as well as a perfect photo opportunity for your guests!

The cost of your ceremony will represent very good value for your money. I operate a flexible pricing policy, tailored to my customers requirements so they can make an informed choice on the type of ceremony they require.
IMPORTANT - A civil celebrant does not perform a legal marriage. A marriage certificate must be obtained from the local registrar prior to the celebration ceremony. Usually a main register office will perform a 'couples and witness only' marriage.
